Was a little hesitant to purchase this due to the price as compared to competing products. When I first hooked it up in a test, the video was horrible. After adjusting the receiver, the video was perfect. I have it installed in a retail store to display customer information. The cat 5 cable is about 40 feet long. Now that I know it works, I'm going to buy more for other locations.

I installed this in a church where there is a ceiling-mounted projector above the altar and a laptop in the back of the church. It's about a 100' run.

After running Cat-6 cable from front to back, I used Cat6-to-VGA adapter plugs at each end and nothing ... could not go the distance at a resolution of 1024x768 or higher. So I ordered this unit, plugged it in in place of the adapter plugs, and voila. Only had to make one adjustment - to the EQ setting on the receiver - due to ghosting. Used the included mini-screwdriver. Cleared up perfectly.

Church is very happy as am I.

Used this to put a monitor onstage for our MediaShout program for church. The video quality is excellent and the cat5 run was over 100 feet. Id purchase it again. In fact will get a multi port extender for multiple projectors. Trip Lite is great
